Tools We Dream of Bringing to Life the B!JuKu Forge

Every great convention booth, cosplay prop, or limited-run merch item starts somewhere

usually in a messy, creative workshop full of machines humming late into the night.

At B!JuKu, we call that dream space The Forge.

As we plan ahead for future conventions, pop-ups, and creator showcases, we’ve been keeping an eye on some incredible new maker tools that would help us turn ideas into real, physical things. From custom merch to props and signage, these are the tools we’d love to bring into the Forge as we get things rolling.

DTF Printer – Custom Apparel on Demand

DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing is a game changer for creators. Instead of outsourcing shirts and hoodies, this would let us produce B!JuKu merch in-house.

Why we want it:

  • Small-batch shirts for conventions

  • Limited edition drops for manga launches

  • Staff and creator apparel

  • No minimum order stress

Perfect for testing designs before committing to bulk runs.

Laser Cutters – Fast, Precise, Creative

Laser cutters open up a whole new world of customization—from acrylic charms to engraved signage.

Forge possibilities:

  • Acrylic keychains & charms

  • Laser-cut display stands for artist tables

  • Engraved plaques, badges, and awards

  • Decorative set pieces for booths

Clean, precise, and fast—ideal for convention prep crunch time.

Lab 3D Printer – Speed Meets Precision

Bambu Lab keeps raising the bar for fast, reliable, high-quality 3D printing.

Forge use cases:

  • Prop parts and cosplay accessories

  • Tool holders and jigs

  • Booth hardware and mounts

  • Multi-color display pieces

When deadlines matter, speed + consistency = sanity.

Large-Format Resin Printing – Elegoo Jupiter

While FDM printers handle structure and speed, resin printers are all about detail—and a large-format machine like the Elegoo Jupiter would unlock an entirely different level of quality for the B!JuKu Forge.

Why resin printing matters for the Forge:

  • Ultra-high-detail figurines and character busts

  • Small prop parts with clean surfaces

  • Master models for molds and casting

  • Premium display pieces for booths and showcases

The Jupiter’s large build volume means we’re not limited to tiny minis—we can create full-scale collectibles, detailed cosplay accents, and high-end pieces worthy of center-stage at conventions.

This is the kind of machine that turns digital art into gallery-quality physical objects.

Button Maker – Instant Convention Swag

Buttons are convention currency—and a button maker lets us react fast.

Perfect for:

  • Manga cover pins

  • Character buttons

  • Event-exclusive designs

  • Club and mascot merch

Low cost, high hype.

Desktop Vacuum Former – Props & Packaging

Vacuum forming is one of those tools that quietly unlocks so much.

Forge applications:

  • Lightweight prop shells

  • Protective packaging

  • Display domes

  • Molded accessories

This bridges the gap between DIY and professional finish.

How It Fits Into the Forge Ecosystem

Think of it like this:

  • Bambu Lab printers → fast, durable parts

  • Resin printers (Elegoo Jupiter) → detail, polish, and finish

  • Vacuum forming + CNC → structure and presentation

Together, they’d let us go from concept → prototype → final con-ready piece entirely in-house.

The Bigger Picture: Building the B!JuKu Forge

These tools aren’t just about machines—they’re about possibility.

They represent:

  • Independence from outsourcing

  • Rapid experimentation

  • Creator-driven merch

  • Sustainable convention prep

  • A space where manga, making, and community collide

The B!JuKu Forge isn’t fully built yet but every idea, every plan, and every tool we dream about brings it closer to reality.

If you ever see us at a con surrounded by weird machines, glowing acrylic, and the smell of freshly cut wood…You’ll know the Forge is alive!!!!!!
