Konnichiwa, my brilliant bijutsuka!
Have you heard the exciting news floating around our manga world lately? If not, let me be the first to tell you: the DouDouJin contest is here, and it's absolutely electrifying! ✨
Hosted by the amazing folks at DouDouJin, this contest is a celebration of indie manga, created by artists from all over the globe. Whether you're a seasoned doujinshi artist or someone scribbling storyboards in the margins of your math notes (I see you 👀), this is a moment to let your creativity shine like the sparkle in a magical girl's transformation.
🌸 Why I'm So Excited
As the principal of BiJuku, a school powered by art, storytelling, and the bold spirit of self-expression, contests like these speak to my soul.
Doujin culture is the heartbeat of the manga world — passionate, unfiltered, and full of raw, beautiful energy. It reminds us that you don’t need a big publisher to tell a great story. You just need your voice, your vision, and maybe a pen that hasn’t run out of ink yet.
(Though if you need one, check the Makerspace. Ray-sensei hoards supplies like a manga goblin.)
🏆 What You Can Expect
✒️ Submit your original manga (digital or traditional, solo or team effort!)
🕒 Entry period is open now — so don’t wait too long!
🧑⚖️ Amazing judges from the industry (including published artists and editors!)
🎁 Prizes and publication opportunities that could launch your dream career!
This is more than just a contest — it's a platform to showcase what makes your art unique.
And believe me, the world needs your stories.
📣 BiJuku Will Be Cheering You On!
Some of our own manga club members are joining in — and I couldn’t be prouder! I’ll be hosting a “Story Sprint” in the art hall next week to help anyone polish their entries. Snacks will be provided. (And yes, they’re Ray-senpai approved.)
💻 How to Enter
Just head to the official site below and follow the entry instructions:
And if you need help formatting your pages or exporting your files, swing by the Makerspace. We’ve got you.
🖤 A Final Message from Your Principal
So go forth, my brilliant creators. Tell the stories only you can tell. I believe in your light — and I can’t wait to read your magic.

With endless admiration and sparkly stickers,
Principal A7BiJuku – School of Ink, Imagination, and Intensity
