Hello everyone! Summer is literally around the corner (half the year already?!!) so let's kick it off by announcing our open call for all creators of manga, creative writing, illustrations, and webcomics who want to be featured on our platform.
We want to help new & established creators on their creative journey and also encourage collaborations among community members. A creator can share their work here at any stage of development (or choose certain community members to participate in the creative process). And one of the nicest things around here is the community. Other platforms feel like your works are published in a black hole where it's you 🆚 everyone else. There's no spark of collaboration or community. B!JuKu wants to change that experience for all creators.
So if you are interested in publishing your content (and earn some karma points along the way), here are the steps to get started:
➠ Step 1: Create your 🆓 account
Like all good things, you need to set up an account before you upload or participate in any part of the site. And the best part, it's 🆓 😎
After you confirm your account (to make sure you are not a 🤖 or a 👻, move on to Step 2.
➠ Step 2: Upload ⬆︎ your work
The first step on your creative journey starts with sharing your work. Make sure your work follows these simple guidelines:
✓ No 🔞 adult content*
✓ Work was not 100% created by generative AI
✓ Can be previously published on other platforms
*If your content is for readers 18 yrs+, we can publish either an abstract of your work and link out to where readers can find the adult content version or you can publish an edited version and link out to the adult version.
After uploading, there is a 72 hour review by staff to make sure the content adheres to our guidelines. Once everything checks out, your work will be available on B!JuKu - we'll send you a notification when your content is published.
➠ Step 3: Yay! 🎉 Your work is Live!
Fist pump or throw confetti 🎊, your creative journey begins 😎
➠ Step 4: Build your community/fanbase 🔊
Visit the Clubs section on the site and find which genre or interest club your work closely aligns to and start a thread, get a conversation started. If you don't see a genre or interest that matches or closely relates to your work, shoot us a note and we'll help get you set up! Clubs is where everyone hangs out and share feedback, support one another, collaborate, and more!
Seems pretty simple. I'm looking forward to reading and collaborating with you! 😸 Let's go!
